I never knew Elliana would take to the piano like she has but we often have to ask her to stop playing. She is very talented :)

A day at the beach. I wish our beach here in Winnetka was this nice but a trip to Wilmette is only a mile or two away. Unfortunately we have to pay nonresident prices for parking and beach passes which ended up costing the 4 of us $44 for the day!!! oh well... we had a great time.

I was planning on a picture of Jon and me on our 9th wedding anniversary but this is all I got. I took the kids bowling with our church and Daddy met us there. We then came home and ate Thai takeout together... it was delicious!

Elliana missed her last day of school do to spitties the night before. But only Ms. Martin would call Elliana and put her on speaker phone so the class could all say goodbye then drive over to say goodbye herself later in the day. What a year and what a great teacher!!!

Talk about an end of the year party! Two DJs, two bounce houses, cotton candy machine, tent with pizza and cake. Jack and Sydney (and mama) had just as much fun as the rest of the kids in Ms. Martin's 2nd grade class.

Lemonade for sale! Elliana has ALWAYS wanted to do a lemonade stand but her lamo mama has always dodged the subject (not a good time, maybe another day, etc). But sometimes one must leave their comfort zone and dive right in. This is going to be the cutest darn lemonade stand north of Willow Road.

Elliana's first soccer season comes to a close. She had an amazing game kicking a pass that resulted in a goal for her team. It was a hot day and the girls were very tired but they had a great season.
