Sydney had mentioned she wanted to get her ears pierced but I didn't think she would go through with it. The night before we were out to eat and she brought it up again. I took her down to the store to show them what they really do and I pinched her little ear as hard as I could so she knew it would hurt. The lady at the store asked why I wanted to scare her...I said I wanted to tell her the truth so that she wasn't upset. Sydney still wanted it done so Daddy came back with us and she sat through the entire thing and didn't even blink. She was a little rock star! And very proud!
